P. Andre Arguimbau and his father, Peter, founded the Mariner Gallery in 2015 after they purchased the 1772 home of Stephen DuBois. Andre led a led a two-year refit, restoring the once captain’s home to colonial design before building a lower deck of solid oak modeled after the USS Constellation, the second warship built for the U.S. Navy. The Constellation Room can be reserved for events and will serve as home to the Maritime League of the Arts.
Andre is an executive recruiter, USCG Master Captain, EMT, Wilderness First Responder, diver, carpenter, and marathoner. He enjoys sailing, racket sports, motorcycle touring, and spending time with his sister and yellow lab. Andre is a graduate of Loomis Chaffee and College of Charleston.
Anna MacGillivray is our Associate Director. She is a graduate of Boston College, where she studied English and Art History. She is an Aquidneck native and attended Portsmouth Abbey. Anna enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and grew up sailing Narragansett Bay.
